The organizing committee of The Good Samaritan Society’s Assisted Living Above the 49th Parallel 2008 Conference has made a decision to defer this conference until the fall.
New dates are
October 8 to 10, 2008.
As a not-for-profit organization we rely on our partners to support GSS with initiatives such as this one. To date, GSS has not secured adequate sponsorship to sustain a conference of this magnitude. Postponing the conference will allow GSS ample time to secure commitments from all needed sponsors.
Holding the conference later in the year as it turns out will bring some important additional benefits. There will be opportunity for our speakers to add significantly to the body of Canadian data they can present. As well, some additional presenters originally unable to meet the dates will be available to present their ideas.
The Good Samaritan Society is confident that by deferring Assisted Living Above the 49th Parallel to the fall we will be in a better position to provide you with a most dynamic experience.
